Sadie Grace

We were playing outside, and I thought I'd take a picture of Sadie doing something she loves to do... picking up a leaf.

Then she walked past me, and I snapped a picture. It wasn't until I walked over to her that I realized it wasn't a leaf she had picked up. It was a giant nasty bug! Ew!

Sadie loves to read... even if the book is upside down!

One of Sadie's favorite places to go is the museum. There's just so much to explore!

If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands!
This was the picture we put on our Christmas cards this year.

Sadie sees Santa for the first time. Santa riding by on the fire truck was one of Mommy's favorite Christmas events growing up, so it was fun to see Sadie experience this tradition.

Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw's house has all kinds of new and different parks to explore.

Sadie loved Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw's cat, Kit Kat.
In fact, while we were there, she even started saying, "Kih Kah!"

Getting ready to go to church on Christmas Eve.
Sadie loved pulling things out of her stocking. Each item was a fun surprise!

She wasn't too sure about opening presents, though. She'd mess with the paper a bit, but didn't know about tearing into it. When we'd help her, though, and she saw what was inside... then she got excited!
A baby doll just for Sadie!

Wow! This sure is a lot of presents for one little baby!

Sadie enjoyed looking at the album of pictures of herself that we gave Maw-Maw. And she did what she always does with pictures of babies... kissed it!

Maw-Maw Esther got Sadie a book about ladybugs which Sadie loves to read.

The day after Christmas we went to the aquarium at Moody Gardens. As always, Sadie loved seeing the big tanks of fish and all sorts of marine life.

"Mommy, this wall looks interesting, can I touch it?"
"Big hug!"

How big is Sadie? ... So big!
This is the dress Mommy wore her first Christmas. Although, since it was St. Louis, Mommy had to wear a long sleeve shirt and tights underneath.

Daddy got a Sadie backpack for Christmas! Perfect for hiking.
Four generations!
